The Occupational Health Seminar Northern Region, a two day event was successfully organised by the Koperasi Doktor Pulau Pinang Berhad (KDPP), Penang Medical Practitioners Society (PMPS) and Academy of Occupational and Environmental Medicine Malaysia. This is the first time AOEMM, KDPP and PMPS in co-organising an occupational health seminar. The seminar was held on the 27 and 28 August 2016 (Saturday and Sunday) at the Hotel Seri Malaysia Pulau Pinang. The first day focused on “Ergonomic Problems In Workplace” and the second day on “Stress At Workplace: Who Bothers”. There were more than 50 participants who attended the first day seminar and about 40 attending the second day seminar. Professor Abu Hasan, Associate Professor Victor Hoe and Dr Ahmad Fitri represented AOEMM and presented several papers on ergonomic and stress at the workplace.
