The AOEMM will be organising the 39th Technical Updates on “Occupational Lung Diseases and Spirometry Workshop” which will be held on Sunday, 13 September 2020 – 8.00 am to 5.00 pm at Marriott Hotel Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
Objectives
Spirometry test is one of the important investigation tools in diagnosing Occupational Lung diseases. It is also used as biological effects monitoring for medical surveillance purposes due to exposure to chemicals hazardous to health.
In view of the importance of spirometry in occupational health practices, the Academy of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, Malaysia (AOEMM) is organizing this Workshop, which we hope will be beneficial to all Occupational Health Practitioners in understanding the principles and technical aspects of spirometry testing. This Workshop will consist of both theoretical, practical spirometry and case discussion sessions facilitated by experienced Occupational Health Practitioners.

Occupational Health Physicians, Public Health Physicians, Occupational Health Doctors, Medical Specialists, Medical Practitioners, Occupational Health Nurses, Assistant Medical Officers, Safety and Health Officers and Assistant Environmental Health Officers.
