The AOEMM will be organising the 35th Technical Updates on “Occupational Lung Diseases and Spirometry Workshop” will be held on Saturday, 7th March 2020 – 8.00 am to 5.15 pm at AC Hotel Kuala Lumpur (Formerly Vistana Hotel).
Objectives
Spirometry test is one of the important investigation tools in diagnosing Occupational Lung diseases. It is also used as biological effects monitoring for medical surveillance purposes due to exposure to chemicals hazardous to health.
It is hoped that this Technical Update will be beneficial to all Occupational Health Practitioners in understanding the principles and technical aspects of spirometry testing.
Who should attend the course?
Occupational Health Physicians, Occupational Health Doctors, Medical Specialists, Medical Practitioners, Occupational Health Nurses, Assistant Medical Officers, Safety and Health Officers and Assistant Environmental Health Officers.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Points
- 12 Continuous Education Program (CEP) points will be offered for eligible doctors to obtain Department of Occupational Safety and Health CEP points
