Objectives
In view of recent Environmental incidents in the country, notably the chemical pollution in Sungai Kim Kim, Pasir Gudang earlier this year, the Academy is organizing this Technical Update to give Occupational Health Practitioners a better understanding and awareness of Environmental Health Issues.
It is hoped that this Technical Update will be beneficial to all Occupational Health Practitioners in understanding the key roles that they can play in managing Environmental Disasters.
Who should attend the course?
Occupational Health Physicians, Occupational Health Doctors, Medical Specialists, Medical Practitioners, Occupational Health Nurses, Assistant Medical Officers, Safety and Health Officers and Assistant Environmental Health Officers.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Points
- 12 Continuous Education Program (CEP) points will be offered for eligible doctors to obtain Department of Occupational Safety and Health CEP points
