AOEMM will be organizing 1 day Medical Surveillance (MS) Workshop on 28 November 2020, Saturday, 8am-5pm via online session.
Objectives
Health surveillance is an important part of health risk management which involves collecting and using information about workers’ health, in relation to the substances they use. It requires a systematic approach for the early detection of disease and follow up action to prevent disease progression. It is also essential to prevent further exposure to other workers.
This workshop will consist of interactive lectures and case discussion sessions.
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Discuss the fundamental of health surveillance
- Describe steps in conducting medical surveillance
- Demonstrate important elements in proper medical surveillance report
