The AOEMM will be organising the Medical Surveillance Workshop which will be held on Sunday, 5 September 2020, 8.00 am to 5.00 pm at Capri by Fraser, Johor Bharu.
The AOEMM is organising this workshop in collaboration with DOSH, which we hope will be beneficial to attendees. This workshop will consist of both group work and case discussion sessions facilitated by experienced Occupational Health Practitioners.
Introduction
Health surveillance is an important part of health risk management which involves collecting and using information about workers’ health, in relation to the substances they use. It requires a systematic approach for the early detection of disease and follow up action to prevent disease progression. It is also essential to prevent further exposure of others.

- Describe steps in conducting medical surveillance
- Demonstrate important elements in proper medical surveillance report
